If a piece of furniture I am working on needs a few adjustments I can usually do that on my own, if not my husband and I can usually put our abilities together to figure something out. I enjoy this as my job, my hobby, my stress reliever. Also to be able to do what I enjoy and stay home to take care of my kids is just another level of fun. I started Sweet Blossom Chic for the fun and the ability to help my family in tough times.
I am a person who is always looking for a great deal and I think I am able to deliver that with the items I sell. I work hard to make each piece look and feel like brand new. If I wouldn't put it in my own home or wouldn't be happy with a piece I will not sell it that way. I have redone one certain dresser top more then 10 times because I couldn't get the poly to lay the way I thought it should. I hope that anyone who purchases my pieces enjoy them and are happy with the quality. All pieces are a piece of my art. Some have a unique blended look that is done with several layers of a hand painted technique and clear coated with a professional sprayer. Others the paint is sprayed on as well as the clear coat. Each piece is sanded several times during the process and at the end buffed for a smooth finish.
